STEAMpunks Alpha is an award-winning robotics team at Woodbridge High School, Irvine, CA, advised by Ms. Jennifer Blackie. We compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge, a worldwide robotics competition designed for the middle and high school levels.
Our Goal

What Do We Do?
Innovate, Design, Exceed
Currently, we competed in FIRST Tech Challenge’s 2023-2024 Season: Center Stage. We have hosted robotics tournaments for younger students and reach out to middle and elementary level students to spread STEAM. We are also planning to host hackathons and workshops for elementary and middle school students, but more information about that will be released later. In addition, we are also in the process of creating YouTube tutorials about some of the basics of robotics to educate the community and inspire others to learn more about robotics and get involved.
